About the Directors
Life Educational Counseling center is a Christian organization based in Humble Texas. With the help of Skype, LEC has expanded their reach nationally. They offer hope and healing to adolescents, single adults, couples, and families suffering from a wide range of difficulties. Specializing in Biblical solution-focused counseling, their desire is to make a difference in this hurting world we live in one family at a time.
Since 1996, Liz Childress has been ministering to hurting people in the Houston, Humble, Atascocita, and surrounding cities in Texas. She has been counseling adolescents, single adults, couples, and families. Specializing in Biblical solution-focused counseling, she's offered effective help to people suffering from a wide range of difficulties. In 1998 Liz earned a Certified Christian Counselor (CCC) certificate from the International Christian Institute (ICI) setting her on a course of continued education in the field of Christian counseling resulting in her earning a B.A. in Christian Therapy. Her husband, Danny, has assisted her in ministry, coaching single men and husbands of couples that have sought counseling services with Liz; many of whom continue an accountability relationship with him. Danny and Liz are Board Certified Belief Therapists (BCBT) through the Therapon Institute, Certified Sexual Addiction Therapists (CSAT) and Certified Professional Life Coachs (CPLC) through Light University (LU). They are members in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the International Christian Coaching Association (ICCA), and the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). As ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Danny and Liz have come to learn that God's Word offers lasting solutions to ALL of life's problems. Counseling, Coaching, and Mentoring: LEC believes in the benefits of counseling, coaching, and mentoring. Thus we offer services to professionals, counselors, and ministry leaders. Our services are held on a one-on-one basis and/or group settings. Sessions are performed at our office, our client's office or home (for an additional cost), over the phone, or via Skype.
